Automobile air suspension is also a kind of automobile suspension. However, the air suspension is an upgraded version of the ordinary suspension.
The suspension of an ordinary car is generally composed of a spring and a shock absorber, which is used to improve ride comfort and handling stability. The air suspension not only greatly improves the comfort, but also increases the trafficability of complex road conditions.
Air suspension is generally composed of air compressor, accumulator, control unit, front and rear axle body height sensor, three body acceleration sensors in different directions and four air spring extension acceleration sensors. The working principle is: according to different road conditions and the signal of the distance sensor, the trip computer will judge the height change of the vehicle body, and then control the air compressor and exhaust valve to make the spring compress or extend automatically, so as to reduce or increase the ground clearance of the chassis, so as to increase the stability of the high-speed vehicle body or the trafficability of complex road conditions.
In addition, the driver can adjust the state of the air suspension by himself through the control buttons in the vehicle. It is generally divided into three states: soft state, normal state and hard state (also marked as comfortable, ordinary and sports modes).
For example: when the vehicle is running at high speed, the suspension can improve the stability of the vehicle body by hardening; When passing through uneven roads at low speed, the suspension can become soft, so as to improve the trafficability of the car and the comfort of passengers in the car.
