The working principle of air suspension is to use the air compressor to form compressed air and send the compressed air to the air chamber of spring and shock absorber to change the height of the vehicle.
Generally speaking, the content of air suspension control includes body height, damping force of shock absorber and spring elasticity coefficient: 1. Vehicle height control: sub standard, raising and only raising the rear wheel; 2. The attenuation force control of the shock absorber is divided into three gears: low, medium and high; 3. The elastic coefficient of air spring is divided into soft and hard gears.
The traditional air suspension control mode adopts mechanical height valve, that is, the air suspension airbag is inflated and deflated through the opening of the height valve, so as to maintain the constant driving height of the vehicle. With the popularization of system application and the development of vehicle control technology, electronic control gradually replaces the traditional mechanical control electronic control system, which not only improves the comfort and response sensitivity of operation, but also can add many auxiliary functions.
In order to ensure the main characteristics of the suspension, namely vibration avoidance (vibration attenuation force), elastic constant and shock absorber stroke, the optimal control mechanism which can adapt to various driving conditions is continuously developed.
